The funeral of veteran journalist Prince Ebow Godwin Sam will be held at the Ghana International Press centre on Saturday, December 22 after burial at Osu cemetery.
In a statement signed by Mr Bright Blewu, General Secretary of the Ghana Journalists Association, said the body will be brought in from Lome early on Saturday morning and laid briefly in state before the funeral service to be followed by internment.
Ebow Godwin, 67, was once the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Association and until his death on November 25, the BBC Correspondent at Lome, Togo.

The British Broadcasting Corporation�s Correspondent in Togo Ebow Godwin, has passed away.
News of his death made the rounds on the night of Sunday November 25, 2012, as colleagues and close associates took to social media to eulogise him.
It is not clear what caused his death but very close sources of the veteran journalist say he died of heart related complications.
Messages of condolence especially from colleagues at the World Service have since poured in, with some expressing shock.
�Very sad to hear death (sic) of Lome correspondent Ebow Godwin today. He was a friend long before I joined the beep. Rest peacefully Ebow,� Akwasi Sarpong of the BBC tweeted.
Fidelis Mbah also of the BBC wrote: �Sad end to a great weekend with the news of the death of my BBC colleague in #Lome, #Togo, #Ebow Godwin. Sad sad sad (sic)�.
Host of the BBC�s Focus on Africa television show Komla Dumor tweeted �RIP Ebow Godwin-our long time BBC correspondent in Togo. He was a good man�.
A dedicated journalist of many years, Ebow Godwin was the BBC�s key source of information in the West African country for years. He also reported for the Associated Press.
