Five communities in the Fanteakwa District have appealed to the government to improve their road net-work to enable them to cart foodstuffs to the buying centres.
The communities are Adukrom, Krobo Meyiwo, Kwahu Meyiwa, Aboabo and Hye Wo Ho Den.
Mr Adams Tettey, Assemblyman of the area, who made the appeal on behalf of the communities, said the bad nature of the road had virtually cut the communities from the rest of the district.
He said most drivers were refusing to ply those routes with the few ones doing so charging exorbitant fares.
