President John Mahama, has again debunked suggestions that the mass cocoa spraying exercise has been cancelled.
He explained that the exercise has only been put on temporary hold, to allow for restructuring to ensure that chemicals and fertilizers get to Cocoa
farmers directly.
President Mahama, was addressing a durbar of chiefs and people of Tepa in the Ashanti region on the last leg of his three day working visit to the region.
He announced that there will be an
increase in cocoa producer price this year and also Cocoa farmers will
receive their bonuses this year.
