Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, has brought clarity to why a private developer constructed a wall in the middle of an asphalted road at Denyame in Kumasi.
According to the private developer, a portion of the asphalted road falls within his land hence the construction of the wall.
Simon Osei Mensah speaking in an interview on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', said various checks he has done prove that the land belongs to the private developer.
He further indicated that taking the land from him might incur judgement debt.
"The checks I've done so far indicate that the land belongs to him . . . for now nothing can be done because stretching it further will incur judgement debt and we need to avoid that," he said.
