A 28-year-old Catholic priest Reverend Father Sebastian Dery has committed suicide in Navrongo in the Upper East region.
Residents of Navrongo, capital of the Kassena-Nankana Municipility in the Upper East Region, have been thrown into a state of shock in the wake of a suicide case involvong a Catholic reverend Father of the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese.
Rev. Father Sebastian Dery, according to the Upper East Regional Police Command took his own life around 6am on Wednesday. He is said to have behind a suicide note asking one Emmanuel t forgive him.
This is the second time in less than a year that a Reverend father has committed suicide.
In August last year, a 31-year-old Catholic Priest, Reverend Father Kevin Abakisi committed suicide by hanging in Tamale.
Police in Navrongo are investigating the latest case.
