The shortage of fuel that has hit the entire country in the past few weeks seems to have worsened in the Brong-Ahafo Region, especially in the regional capital Sunyani, as hundreds of people sleep at filling stations in search of the essential commodity.
In Sunyani, most drivers travel to the various filling stations in search of the commodity.
DAILY GUIDE gathered that the Shell and Goil filling stations near the Jubilee Park on Wednesday had no fuel.
Operators at the filling stations told the paper that they had not received fuel for some days in the city.
Most commercial drivers, who spoke to DAILY GUIDE, expressed their frustration about the development.
They wondered why Ghana, an oil producing country, could face such problems.
