The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has been rated a World Health Organization (WHO) Level Three listed institution.
By the rating, the FDA has attained a level of maturity after meeting 267 WHO benchmarks backed by documentations as a stable, well-functioning and integrated regulatory system.
For attaining the WHO Level Three, Ghana becomes the second African country after Tanzania to achieve such a feat, making the Ghana FDA comparable to any regulatory body in the world.
Currently, only 51 countries in the world have met the WHO minimum requirement to be considered to meet standards and promote equitable access to quality, safe, efficacious, and affordable medical and health products.

This must be a feather in the cap of Madam Mimi Darko. Beauty with brains and this should serve to motivate the young girls to be interested in STEM subjects; unlike all these over-bleached so-called celebrities flaunting their nakedness on social media and documenting every trip they make abroad to satisfy the libidonic excesses of wealthy and errant husbands and business moguls! They are living empty and fake lives. Here is a real woman worth celebrating! Kudos to you and the team at FDA!
