It's 8th of March again, and we are here to appreciate women's progress under the theme "Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow".
We show our efforts by striking the pose and hashtaging #Breaking the Bias.
On 25th of March,2022 I engaged Student Representative Council(SRC) women commisioners of the various Tetiary institutions in Ghana. As a former women's commissioner for KNUST and women's advocate I believe our efforts as leaders of minor groups is pivotal to achieve the SDG goal 5 in the year 2030.
As young females, we are reminded that every little action of ours is a step towards peeling off the onion of gender biases, stereotypes, and discrimination.
I am, by this opportunity, asking all of us,as young females not to relent even for a second in our efforts to make a world that's diverse, equitable and inclusive.
May today for the celebration of international women's day, and every other day implore us to renew our resilience towards fighting for women progress.
