Government has renewed its search for private investors to partner it to build and operate the Bonkra inland Port and the Eastern Railway line project.
A successful revival of the project is expected to decongest the Tema and Takoradi ports leading to a rise in the countrys maritime trade.
The Acting Chief Executive of the Ghana Railways Authority, Alhaji Sidik Alidu, tells Radio Ghana that efforts are underway to operationalize the lines.
Alhaji Alidu bemoaned the massive encroachment of railway lands which is stalling works in the development of the railway sector.
