Government has obtained a fifty one million dollar ($51million) grant from the World Bank for the oil and gas capacity building project.
The Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, is a beneficiary of the five year project. About four million dollars has been earmarked for the agency to implement the initiative.
The Chairman of the Governing Board of the EPA, Samuel Anku, announced this at the launch of guidelines for environmental assessment and management of the offshore oil and gas development in Ghana.
