Former Black stars and Hearts of Oak winger Bernard Don Bortey is set to complete a short term deal with FC Samartex, Ghanasportsonline.com can report.
Bortey, who hogged the headlines in Ghana footballer after an incredible stint with Hearts of Oak helping the Phobians to win the maiden edition of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2004 will join Samatex after a fruitless spell with Swedish outfit Ange IF.
The 34-year-old who still looks active makes a return to the domestic scene after more than a decade in Europe and Asia.
He will be joining ex- Kotoko and former Ghana Premier League goalking Alex Asamoah who also joined the division one Club on a short-term deal.
The serial killer as he is called was once named the best player in the Ghana Premier League.
