The NPP parliamentary candidate for Dome-Kwabenya, Adwoa Safo, said the newly elected NDC candidate to contest her seat will be no match in the 2012 general elections.
Sophia Akuako over the weekend emerged winner to represent the ruling government in that constituency. The NPP candidate Safo, however, told Citi News that she is not bothered about who she contends with.
I am not really bothered with what the NDC, CPP or the PNC comes out with. This seat has been our [NPP] seat for about 16 years, Professor Mike Ocquaye is still the sitting MP now and he has held the fort well, she said.
I believe I have a very good foundation to build on and that come 2012, I will win the seat for Dome-Kwabenya, she stated.
